(Updated) Juhlia kaikkialla / Parties everywhere

Lauantaina vietin iltaa alakerrassa kämppäkavereideni kanssa. Sunnuntaina kävin Harajukussa seikkailemassa ja leikkautin tukkani extemporeena Inokashira-koen juna-aseman edessä olevassa kampaamossa. Kävelen siitä ohi joka päivä joten kampaaja itseasiassa tunnisti minut ja oli erittäin iloinen että tulin sinne!

Maanantaina jo näkyi tunnelmassa että seuraavana päivänä on viimeinen kerta koulussa. Tytöt kyselivät kaikenlaista minulta sinä päivänä. Teimme vartalo-pakkaus hoitoja ja lopuksi vielä vahausta.

Tiistaina teimme jälleen pakkauksia ja kävimme vielä Dermalogican vartalo-naamiot läpi kokeillen niitä pareittain. Tämän jälkeen siivosimme paikkamme ja opettajat pyysivät meitä palaamaan teoria-luokkaan. Keskelle huonetta oli katettu pöytä. Kaiken maailman naposteltavia ja juotavia. Pidimme siis pienet läksiäis juhlat kaikkien kanssa jossa söimme ja joimme. Meillä oli jopa shampanjaa! (Renalle ei annettu koska hän on vasta 20 vuotta vanha.) Sain lahjaksi pienen valokuva-albumin ja kortin johon he kaikki kirjoittivat minulle pienen viestin! Pari luokkalaistani jopa hieman itkivät mutta pienen halailu tuokion jälkeen lupasin että menen heidän kaikkien kanssa vielä kerran ulos ennen kuin lähden.

Tyttöjen lähtiessä kotiin, minä lähdin opettajien kanssa viettämään aikaa Shinjukuun ensin todella hienoon izakayaan ja sen jälkeen vielä karaokeen. Tietenkin ilta ei mennyt hirveän pitkälle koska heillä oli vielä töitä seuraavana päivänä. He saattoivat minut asemalle jossa tiemme sitten erkanivat.

Keskiviikkona menin suomalaisen ystäväni kanssa Bradion keikalle Shibuyaan. Molemmat viimeksi niin tykästyimme heihin niin pitihän meidän mennä heidän keikalle yhdessä kun oli se mahdollisuus. Keikan jälkeen menimme vielä kahdeksi tunniksi karaokeen kun siellä oli "Lady's night". Tiskillä oleva henkilö oli niin ihana että antoi meidän mennä naisten karaoke-boxiin jotka on aina erittäin nättejä huoneita!

Torstai meni luokkalaisteni kanssa syömisessä ja jutustelussa. Unohdimme ottaa puricurat, mutta minkäs sille voi! Perjantaina menin Kichijojin juna-aseman vieressä olevaan kynsisalonkiin ja hankin itselleni oikein nätit kynnet!

Tänään menin uudestaan suomalaisen ystäväni kanssa keikalle, mutta se oli toinen bändi tällä kertaa. Oli oikein mukavaa nähdä lisää japanilaista bändi-kulttuuria.

On Saturday I spent time with my housemates in the lounge. I went to adventure around in Harajuku on Sunday and did a extempore haircut at a hair salon in front of Inokashira-koen. I pass it everyday so the hairdresser actually recognized me and was happy to have me there.

On Monday in the atmosphere you could really feel that next day was my last day at school. The girls kept asking a lot of things that day.

On Tuesday we did some packing treatments and we also went through the Dermalogica packs and tried them out in pairs. After this we cleaned the room and the teachers asked us to return to the theory class. There was a table all set up. All kinds of snacks and drinks. We threw a farewell party with everyone eating and drinking. We even had champagne! (We didn't give any to Rena because she's only 20 years old) As a present I got a small photo-album and a card where they all had written a small message for me. Two of my classmates even cried but after a small hugging time I promised them I'd go out with them one more time before I leave.

As the girls left the school I left with the teachers to spend time in Shinjuku, first into a very nice izakaya and then to a karaoke. Of course the night didn't go for too long as they still had work on the next day. They kindly escorted me to the train station where our roads went to different ways.

On Wednesday I went with my Finnish friend to Bradio's gig in Shibuya. We both fell in love with them so bad the first time we saw them so of course we had to go to their gig when we had the chance! After the gig we went to do some karaoke for 2 hours because it was "lady's night". The person at the counter was so nice we were given the lady's karaoke box that are always such a pretty rooms!


Thursday went with my classmates with eating and talking. We forgot to take puricuras, but what can you do! On Friday I went to a nail salon that was right next to Kichijoji station and got myself really cute new nails!

Today I went to another gig with my Finnish friend but it was a different band this time. It was nice to see more of that Japanese band-culture!

Nyt on tosiaan kestänyt vähän aikaa kirjoittaa. Torstaina talon sähköt olivat poikki koko päivän sähkö-tarkastuksen takia joten en voinut edes kirjoittaa saapuessani takaisin kotiin.

Maanantaina kävimme koulussa selkä-ongelmat läpi. Skolioosi, lordoosi, kyfoosi ja vielä sen lisäksi kävimme viceroptosiksen (en tiedä mikä se on suomeksi...) jotta osaamme tunnistaa sen. Toisella tunnilla kävimme pakkaus-hoidon jalkoihin. Olin Ikumin parina. Voi että kun hän on niin pieni....

Tiistai oli minulle vapaa päivä koska heillä oli koko päivän teoriaa asiasta jota en pystyisi ymmärtämään minun kielitaidollani.

Keskiviikkona menin vain toiselle tunnille jossa kävimme manikyyrin pikkutarkasti läpi. Torstaina teimme pareissa asiakkaille manikyyrin. Olin Renan parina ja teimme ajallisesti nappiin hoidon. Asiakkaanamme oli italialainen nainen joka ei osannut ollenkaan englantia, joten japaniksi sitten meni hoito taas. Onneksi Rena pystyi hoitamaan viihdyttämis puolen... Toisella tunnilla teimme vartalohoitoa pakkauksilla. Tuntien jälkeen lähdin kaikkien luokkalaisteni kanssa ravintolaan, jonka he olivat varanneet, Shinjukuun. Tämä oli minun läksiäisjuhlani! Se todellakin oli hyvin japanilainen ravintola. Olimme siellä puolitoista tuntia juttelemassa, syömässä ja juomassa. Ilta jatkui vielä karaoken parissa mutta lähdimme kotiin kymmeneltä koska perjantaina oli vielä koulua.

Tänään aamulla opettajani kyselivät innoissaan meidän juhlistamme. Kävimme vielä läpi vartalohoidon, pakkaukset ja vacupulsen läpi ennen asiakkaita. Valitettavasti minulle ei ollut ulkopuolista asiakasta joten yksi opettajistani leikki asiakastani. Ensi viikolla enään kaksi päivää koulua... enään hieman yli kaksi viikkoa Japanissa...

Minulla on hyvin ristiriitaiset tunteet tällä hetkellä...

It has really taken me a while to write. On Thursday the house's powers were cut off for the whole day for a power-checkup so even when I returned back to the house I couldn't write.

On Monday we went through back problems in our class. Scoliosis, lordosis, kyphosis and on top of that viceroptosis so that we can identify it. The second class we went through wrap-treatment for legs. I was Ikumi's partner. Oh dear how small she is...

Tuesday was free for me as they had a theory class of subject that I could not understand with my language-skills.

On Wednesday I only went on the second class where we went through manicure in a very detailed way. Thursday we did manicures in pairs for our clients. I was Rena's partner and we timed the treatment perfectly. We had a Italian woman who couldn't speak a word in English as our client, so the whole treatment went in Japanese. Thankfully Rena could deal with the entertaining... On the second class we did body treatment with packs. After the class I left with all my classmates to a restaurant, which they had booked, in Shinjuku. This was my farewell party! It sure was very Japanese restaurant. We were there for hour and a half chatting, eating and drinking. The night continued with karaoke but by ten we went back to our homes as we had school on Friday.

Today in the morning my teachers were excitedly asking about the party. We went through the body treatment, packing and vacupulse before our clients. Unfortunately there was no outside-client for me, so one of my teachers were playing as my client. Only two days of school next week... a bit over two weeks in Japan...

I'm having very mixed feelings now...

 Meillä vaihtui pää-manageri talossa ja hänen kuvansa oli hienosti piirretty taululle. Kämppäkavereitteni piirustus-into kuitenkin otti vallan ja tämä oli ensimmäinen tulos. / Our main manager in the house got switched and his picture was nicely drawn on the board. My housemates's drawing-passion took control and this was the first result.

Kahden päivän verran / Two days worth

Eilen meni homma niin pitkälle iltaan etten jaksanut enään kirjoittaa mitään. Joten nyt kirjoitan sitten kahden päivän edestä!

Eilen tosiaan tapasin Mitsurun Shinjukussa ja menimme laulamaan karaokea. Viereisessä huoneessa papat lauloivat enkaa ja meidän huoneessa Mitsuru lauloi vanhoja rokki biisejä ja minä lauloin barbaarimaisesti Disney lauluja. Lauloimme myös duettona X-Japanin Forever Love:in ja Tears:in. Söimme meidän karaoke boksissa okonomiyakia, udonia ja edamamea. 3 ja puoli tuntia lauloimme äädemme käheäksi ennen kuin lähdimme eri suuntiin Shinjuku juna-asemalla.

Päästyäni kotiin en saanut nukutuksi joten katsoin Ghibli studion vanhempaa leffaa koneeltani ja menin pesemään hampaitani. Altailla tapasin ystäväni ja hän pyysi minua liittymään heidän seuraan. Jotenka vietin ilta neljään saakka aamuun heidän kanssa jutellen kaiken maailman asioista. Tuli hyvin kotoisa olo ja sain kaksi uutta ystävää!

Seuraavana päivänä olin ystäväni kanssa keskustellut elokuviin menosta, mutta tänään oli 34 astetta lämmintä. Jo kävely 7 Eleven kaupalle ja takaisin oli todella vaikeaa. Taisin hikoilla ainakin 3 litraa... mutta lähdimme neljän porukassa kävelemään isoon ruokakauppaan päin reippaasti auringosta välittämättä. Jätimme kuitenkin elokuva-suunnitelmamme toiseksi päiväksi.

Ostimme bento-laatikoita kaupasta ja menimme syömään niitä puistoon jota kävimme vilkaisemassa ennen kauppaan menoa. Ruokakaupasta oli noin 3 minuuttia matkaa puistoon... ja silti saimme kauhean jäätelö-katastrofin aikaseksi. Minä melkein pelastuin siltä, mutta ei aikaakaan kun vasemmassa kädessä oli kasa suklaata ja oikeassa tikku vailla mitään....

Illemmalla taas linnoittauduimme ystävämme huoneeseen keskustelemaan ja viettämään aikaan. Sunnittelimme jo hieman matkaa Osakaan Universal Studioon JA myös Tokion Disneylandiin! Sanoivat että meidän pitää tehdä kaikkemme että minä ehdin kokea kaikenlaista ennen kuin lähden takaisin kotiin. Otin haasteen vastaan!!!

Yesterday it went on for so long that I didn't have the energy to write anything anymore. So today I will be writing for two day's events.

Yesterday I met Mitsuru in Shinjuku and we went to sing karaoke. In the room next door there was grampa's singing enka and in our room Mitsuru sang old school rock songs and I did my barbarian versions of Disney songs. We also sang X-Japan's Forever love and Tears as duet. We ate in our karaoke box some okonomiyaki, udon and edamame. 3 and half ours we sang our voices to crispy-state before we went on different ways at the Shinjuku train station. 

Once I got home I couldn't get any sleep so I ended up watching an old Ghibli Studio's movie and then I went to wash my teeth. At the washing place I met my friend who asked me to join her. I spent my night till 4 am with them talking about all kinds of things. I felt like at home and I got two new friends!

Next day I had been talking about going to the movies with my friend but it was 34 degrees outside. Even walking to the 7 Eleven and back was really hard. I probably sweated like 3 liters... but we, in a group of four, started walking bravely to the bigger supermarket without caring about the sun. We did leave the movie planning for another day though.

We bought some bento-boxes from the store and went to eat them at a park that we had earlier checked out before going to the store. It was only about 3 minute walk max from the store... and we still managed to have a horrible ice cream-disaster. I almost got saved from it, but not long and my left hand was filled with chocolate and right hand only had a stick without anything on it...

In the evening we fortified ourselves in our friend's room to talk and spend time together. We were also planning about going to Osaka for Universal Studio AND Tokyo's Disneyland. They said that we have to do our everything so that I get to experience all kinds of things before I go back home. I accepted the challenge!!!
