Nättejä juttuja kaikkialla / Pretty things everywhere

Tiistaina minulla oli perhosia vatsassa.

Palautin rehtorilleni, Pamelalle, Suica kortin jota sain lainata maanantaina. Harjoittelimme ennen itse asiakkaita. Koska Rena ei ollut koulussa, sain harjoitella Pamelalle G5:n käyttöä ja myös hierontaa. Sovimme opettajien kanssa etten käytä Bellshapea asiakkaalleni koska en pysty selittämään sen käytöstä japaniksi.

Kuten jo varmaan arvaatkin, minulla oli siis ensimmäistä kertaa japanilainen asiakas. Tarkoituksena oli että en käyttäisi ollenkaan englantia hänen kanssa, vain japania. Olin opetellut tietynlaisia keigo-lauseita (= erittäin kohteliaita) joilla voisin "ohjata" asiakasta ja kysellä tarvittaessa. Tuli kyllä tehtyä pari virhettä puhuessani mutta onneksi asiakkaani naureskeli vain asialle ja korjasi lauseeni. Olen hyvin ylpeä itsestäni etten antanut periksi ja vedin koko hoidon täysin japaniksi. Asiakkaiden jälkeen muut jäivät vielä harjoittelemaan koska heidän kokeensa alkavat tällä viikolla. Itse lähdin kotiin joten saan palaute-lappusen vasta ensi maanantaina.

Keskiviikon vietin kotona lueskellen kirjojani. Kyllä, ne ovat japaniksi! Ostin aikoja sitten kaksi kirjaa jotka ovat teini-ikäisten osastolta joten kanjien yläpuolella lukee (ei kylläkään ihan aina) furiganat (= miten kanji luetaan). Ehkä tässä sitten vähitellen rupee muistamaan niitä kanjejakin!

Tänään taas vietin päiväni ulkona kierrellen Kichijojia ympäri. Sovin myös Momoen kanssa että menen hänen kanssa kahdestaan pupu kahvilaan lauantaina koska muut ovat niin kiireisiä eikä ehdi tulla mukaan. Hän sai meille sinne ajan joten meidän ei tarvitse jonottaa!! Katselin paikan sivua ja voih... pikku puput odottavat minua siellä!!

Söin tänään myös tempuraa pitkästä aikaa!

On Tuesday I had butterflies in my stomach.

I returned my principal, Pamela, the Suica card I was lending on Monday. We were practicing before the clients. Because Rena wasn't in the school, I got to practice G5 and massaging with Pamela. We decided with the instructors that I wouldn't be using Bellshape on my client as I can't explain the usage of it in Japanese.

As you can probably guess, I had a Japanese client for the very first time. The whole idea was that I wouldn't use English at all with her, but Japanese. I had been memorizing some keigo-sentences (= very polite) which I could use to instruct my client and ask if necessary. I did end up making two mistakes, but luckily my client just laughed and corrected me. I'm very proud of myself that I didn't give up and did the whole treatment in Japanese. After the clients, everyone else stayed to practice more as their exams were starting this week. I myself went back home, so I will be getting my feedback paper on next Monday.

Wednesday I spent reading my books at home. Yes, they are in Japanese! A while ago I bought two books from the teenager department so above the kanji's there are (not always though) furiganas (= how the kanji is read). Maybe I will start remembering some of the kanji's!

Today I was spending my day walking around Kichijoji. I agreed with Momoe that I will go with just the two of us to a bunny cafe because everyone else is so busy and can't join us. She got us a appointment so we don't have to wait in line!! I was looking at the place's site and oh... little bunnies are waiting for me there!!

I also ate tempura today after so long!

 En yleensä kirsikoista oikein pidä mutta nämä olivat todella makeita! Sain ne Hiroshilta! / I don't usually like cherries but these were really sweet! I got them from Hiroshi!

 Google+ teki minun ottamasta kuvasta näin hienon niin ajattelin pistää sen mielummin. Iso herttanen koira, hyppeli iloisesti. / Google+ made one of my pictures so awesome so I thought of rather putting that one here than the original. Big sweet dog, jumped around in happiness.

Kamakura

Tänään menin siis Pamelan kanssa Kamakuraan!

Tapasin hänet yhdeksältä aamulla Shibuyan asemalla. Hän kiltisti antoi minulle Suica kortin johon oli laitettu rahaa jolloin minun ei tarvinnut käyttää ollenkaan rahaa juna-matkoihin. Meillä kesti noin tunti junalla Kamakuraan. Kävelimme ensimmäiselle temppelille joka oli omistettu heille jotka olivat kokeneet keskenmenon, abortin ja lapsille jotka ovat kuolleet ennen aikojaan. Pienet patsaat olivat heistä muistoina ja niistä pidettiin erittäin hyvää huolta. Mäen päältä oli upea näköala merelle! Ennen kuin lähdimme pois temppeliltä kävimme myös pienessä luolassa joka oli temppelin alueella.

Matkasimme seuraavan temppeliin, kiireisen shoppailu tien läpi, jossa oli 13.35 metrinen iso Buddha patsas. Tämän jälkeen menimme syömään vihreätee jäätelöä kadun varteen josta sitten otimme bussin ja menimme takaisin juna-asemalle. Lähdimme asemalta kävelemään toiseen suuntaan meidän viimeiseen nähtävyyteen.

Viimeinen nähtävyys oli Shinto temppeli jonka kävely alueet olivat todella laajoja. Temppelin edustaa korjattiin joten siitä ei hirveän kaunista kuvaa saatu. Käytyämme temppelin sisällä lähdimme etsimään paikkaa jossa syödä, juoda ja jutustella. Noin kolmen aikaan lähdimme junalla takaisin Shibuyaan päin. Pamela jäi pari asemaa minua aikaisemmin.

Tätä reissua ennen olin pelännyt koko ajan että mitä jos minulla ei ole mitään puhuttavaa hänen kanssa... mutta kyllä meillä juttua riitti!!

P.S. Poltin käteni, kaulani ja kasvoni. Hikoilin aurinkorasvani pois... jee, asiakastyötä huomenna puna-naamana.

So today I went to Kamakura with Pamela.

I met her at nine o'clock in the morning in Shibuya train station. She nicely gave me a Suica card that had money in it so I didn't en up using any money on the train trips. It took us about an hour to get to Kamakura by train. We walked to the first temple that was dedicated for those who have had miscarriages, abortions and for children who were lost before it was their time. Tiny statues were their mementos and they were very well taken care of. At the top of the hill there was an amazing view to the sea! Before we left we also visited a small cave that was in the temple area. 

We traveled to the next temple, through a busy shopping street, where there was a 13.35 meter tall Buddha statue. After this we went for some green tea ice-cream to the side of the street where we took a buss back to the train station. We left from there to the other way for our final sight.

The last sight was Shinto temple which had these really huge walking areas. The temple's front was being repaired so I didn't really get a nice picture of it. After visiting inside of the temple we left to search for a place where we could eat, drink and chat. At about three pm we headed back to Shibuya by train. Pamela got off of the train few stops before me.

Before this trip I had been a bit scared that I wouldn't have anything to talk about with her... but sure had stuff to talk about!!'

P.S. I burnt my hands, neck and face. I sweated my sunscreen... yaay, client work tomorrow as a red-face.
