Saavuin koululleni, Takara International Esthetic College:lle, ja reippaasti menin kolmanteen kerrokseen tervehtien vartijaa ja info tiskin neitejä. Astuessani koulutustilojen sisälle tapasin tulkin Naokoh-sanin joka heti ensimmäiseksi rupesi innokkaasti esittelemään kouluttajia ja toimiston työntekijöitä. Hänen kysyessään minulta ymmärsinkö japania, vastasin että kyllä mutta lauseiden muodostaminen on hieman "maa maa" (vähän niin ja näin). Tämän jälkeen kaikki puhuivat 95% vain japania minulle. Mikä on ihan ok, se pakottaa minut harjottamaan japanin kieltä ja olen siitä hyvin kiitollinen.
Naokoh-sanin kanssa kävimme kerrostalon kaikki yhdeksän kerrosta läpi tapaamassa muita työntekijöitä jotka innoissaan tervehtivät minua ja ihmettelivät kun ymmärsinkin mitä he sanoivat. Tapasin myös yhden johtajan joka hyvin länsimaalaisesti tervehti minua ja naureskeli. Suurin osa näistä kerroksista olivat yhteistyötä tekeviä firmoja ja myös kolmessa eri kerroksessa oli kampaaja tiloja, tuotteita, laitteita ja tavaroita. Kellarissa oli kouluni kylpylähoito luokka ja siellä myös tapasin talon insinöörin/teknikon.
Käytyämme koko talon läpi, lähdimme lompakot kainalossamme ulos käyskentelemään Naokoh-sanin näyttäessä missä ravintoloissa oli take awaytä jota voin syödä "ruokatunnilla". Ostimme kadulta bento-pakkaukset ja menimme takaisin koululle.
Olin syömässä teoria-tunti luokassa kun ensimmäiset luokkalaiseni saapuivat huoneeseen. Nähtävästi heille oli kerrottu minun tulosta ja ottivat minut todella lämpimästi vastaan. Kyselivät paljon japaniksi minulta asioita ja koitin vastata niin hyvin kuin pystyin. Sain myös kasvohoito opettajaltani pienen tummansinisen laukun jossa oli kaikki tarvittavat asiat kasvosienistä nättiin "ruusu" klipsiin jota käytin hiusteni ollessa kiinni. Syötyämme menimme kasvohoito luokkaan jossa kävimme läpi kasvohoidon meikin poiston ja kasvojen puhdistuksen. Tunnin alussa esittäydyimme kaikki ja uudet luokkatoverini kertoivat odottavansa innoissaan minun kanssa työskentelyä.
Joitakin samoja asioita heillä oli kuin meillä Omniassa, mutta jo tässä perus kasvohoito osiossa pääsimme käyttämään Vacuspray laitetta levittämään kasvoveden. Myös heidän petaus-tyyli oli erinlainen. (Koitan piirtää sen jossain vaiheessa!) Tunti pidettiin täysin japaniksi mutta onneksi minulla on kuvamuisti ja olen muutenkin käytännön henkilö niin mikään ei jäänyt epäselväksi! Tunnin jälkeen oli hyvin onnistunut tunne ja lähdin "kotiin" päin sanoen heipat opettajille, luokkalaisilleni, info tiskin neideille ja ihanalle vartija-sedälle! Huomenna taas kouluun Estessimo-teoria tunnille!
I left at 10 o'clock to walk towards Kichijoji station. In the morning it was a bit windy but luckily I was prepared for that. The sun though was really shining. I had left a to go to the school earlier than I should of as you never know what could happen on the way. The trains were a bit delayed because of an accident...
I arrived at my school, Takara International Esthetic College, and bravely went to the 3rd floor greeting the guard and the info desk ladies. Once I stepped in to the training facilities, I met the interpretator Naokoh-san which started excitedly introducing me to the instructors and the office staff. When she asked me if I understood Japanese, I answered that I could but producing sentences was "maa maa" (so and so). After this everyone talked 95% of the time only Japanese to me. Which was ok, it makes me practice Japanese and I am very grateful of it.
With Naokoh-san we went through all the 9 floors greeting other employees who excitedly greeted me and was surprised when I understood what they were saying. I also met one boss who greeted me in a very western way and laughed. Most of the floors were firms that were co-operating with the college and also on 3 different floors had hairdresser facilities, products, machines and stuff. In the basement were our spa-treatment room and I also met there the building's engineer/technician. Once we had gone through the whole building, we left outside with our wallets to walk around while Naokoh-san showed me restaurants that did take ways that I could eat at our "lunch break" . We bought bento boxes from the street and then went back.
I was eating in the theory class when the first patch of my new classmates arrived. It seems they had been informed about me coming there and they welcomed me with open arms. They asked a lot of questions in Japanese and I answered the best way I could. I also got a small dark blue bag from my facial treatment instructor which had all the things I needed from facial sponges to a lovely "rose" clip for me when I had my hair up. After we ate we went to the facial treatment room where we went through basic facial treatment's makeup removing and cleansing. At the beginning of the class we all introduced ourselves to each other and my new classmates said that they are waiting excitedly working with me.
Some things were the same like in Omnia, but even in this basic facial treatment we got to use a Vacuspray machine for the toning water. Even their bedding style was different. (I'll try to draw it at somepoint!) The class was done completely in Japanese but luckily I have a photo memory and I've always been a practical person so nothing was left unclear! After the class I had a very successful feeling and I left towards "home" saying bye to the instructors, my classmates, info desk ladies and to the lovely guard! Tomorrow again to school to Estessimo theory class!
