Ensinnäkin, akilles jänteeni ovat paljon paremmassa kunnossa. Ne olivat hieman jäykät aamulla, mutta enään niihin ei koske kun kävelen. Hieman ovat hellänä jos jalkani on ollut huonossa asennossa.
Ensimmäinen tuntini oli kynsi taudeista. Kävimme läpi yleisimmät taudit joita tulemme näkemään ammatissamme ja miten ne voi hoitaa/piilottaa. (Monissa kohdissa oli että käytetään tummaa kynsilakkaa niiden päälle jos vain mahdollista.) Tauolla piirsin itselleni kuvan johon keräsin sanastoa kasvonpiirteistä koska toisella tunnilla on kasvohierontaa. Halusin olla varma siitä että pysyn kärryillä missä mennään.
Juuri kun tauko oli loppumassa, oma opettajani ja toisen luokan opettaja tuli luokseni kysyen voisinko mennä toiselle tunnille demo-malliksi. Suostuin siihen ja päädyin G5-laitteen demo-malliksi. (Joka on myös Omniassa) Siinäpä sitten makailin vatsallani kun 12 oppilasta pörräsi ympärilläni katsoen kun opettaja näytti miten laitetta käytettiin. Kun niin kauniisti tytöt kysyivät että saivatko tunnustella, heidän käydessä läpi perustietolomaketta, niin annoin heille luvan. Muuten G5-laitteen käyttö oli sama kuin meillä, mutta liikesarjat olivat hieman erilaisia mutta kuitenkin hyvin loogisia.
Demo-mallina olon jälkeen söin lounaan luokkalaisteni kanssa keskustellen Disneylandin pääsiäis-teemasta ja pian tapahtuvasta Beauty World-messuista. Tunnin alkaessa, sain kauemmin opiskelleen oppilaan asiakkaakseni jolle tein meikinpoiston ja puhdistuksen. Opettajani demosi kuinka ranskalainen "relaxing" hieronta menee. Ryhdyimme hommin ja suoraan sanottuna olimme kaikki hieman sekaisin liikkeistä. Kun tajusin lopulta kuinka hieronta liikkeet menee... sain asiakkaani nukahtamaan petiin. Opettajani oli tästä hyvin innoissaan!
Vaihtaessamme, alkoi minun hemmottelu. Asiakkaani, nimeltä Rena, teki minulle meikinpoiston ja puhdistuksen. Koska Rena oli jo käynyt tämän kurssin ennenkin, hän sai harjoitella toista hierontaa. Olin aivan hyytelöä hoidon jälkeen koska hän teki KOKO hieronnan 3 kertaa! Ai niin ja hän on siis osallistumassa hieronta kisoihin. Että sillälailla... Toivottavasti näen hänet ensi viikolla uudestaan. Hän oli todella mukava ja vaikka hän ei osannutkaan ollenkaan englantia, meidän yhteistyö oli aivan mahtava!
Tunnin jälkeen lähdin kotiin päin toivottaen kaikille hyvää viikonloppua. Sunnuntaiksi on suunnitelmia!
Well damn. Who would of guessed that when I go to school, I'll get really pampered?!
First of all, my Achilles tendons where in a lot better shape. They were a bit stiff in the morning, but they don't hurt anymore when I walk. They are a bit sore if my feet has been in a weird position.
First class was about nail diseases. We went through the most common ones we'll probably meet because of our profession and how to cure/hide them. (Most of them said to use dark nail polish on them if possible.) On our break, I drew a picture where I collected words for facial features as our next class was facial massage. I wanted to be sure I was on the bandwagon all the time.
Just as our break was ending, my teacher and another class's teacher came up to me and asked if I wanted to join her class to be a demo-model. I agreed on it and I ended up being a demo-model fro G5. (Which we also have in Omnia) There I was, lying on my stomach while, 12 students were buzzing around me watching as the teacher showed them how to use it. When the ladies asked me so nicely if they could touch, while they were going through the basic information paper, I agreed on it. In all other ways, the G5 was the same as ours, but they had slightly different massaging patterns than us but they were logical.
After being the demo-model I ate with my classmates talking about Disneyland's Easter-theme and soon happening Beauty World-expo. As the class started, I got a student as a client who has studied a bit longer than us, whom I did makeup removing and cleansing. My teacher demoed us how the french "relaxing" massage goes. We started it and frankly we were all a bit confused about the massage patterns. Once I realized how the patterns goes... I managed to make my client fall asleep. My teacher was really ecstatic about it!
Once we switched, the pampering started. My client, called Rena, did makeup removing and cleansing to me. Because she had already gone through this class, she got to practice another massage pattern. I was all jelly-feeling after the massage because she did the WHOLE massage 3 times! Oh yeah and she's also participating the massaging-competition. So yeah... I hope I get to see her next week. She was really nice and even though she didn't know to speak english at all, our teamwork was amazing!
After the class I headed home, wishing everyone a nice weekend. For Sunday I have plans!
